My professional background is not in processing rather I'm very much interested in analog electronics. So if you are looking to buy some best books on analog electronics then visit the link:- https://best-engineering-books4u.blogspot.com/2020/09/best-books-for-analog-electronics.html. Since I'm not from a processing background, therefore, I had not read the books mentioned below but I had asked my friends about the following books and they had given me positive feedback not only that, after asking them I had collected some reviews from different sources. So these books will really help you to boost up your concepts in signals and systems.
1) Signals and Systems by Nagoor Kani:-
This book tries to explain the concept in both theoretical and numerical approaches. If you are preparing for university-level examinations or even if you are preparing for a gate exam then this book will really help you. The theory explained in this book is almost 15-20%. Mostly it has focused on numerical. At the end of every lesson, you will get some key points which will help you to take short notes. Not only that it has also focused on explaining the concepts technically. After numerical, you will get to solve some problem statements that you have to solve using Matlab. If you are unable to solve it don't worry you will get code for each and every problem at the end of the book.
But there are some drawbacks of this book like some concepts like filters i.e. FIR and IIR filters are not explained properly in this book.
1) Signals and Systems by Rk kanodia:-
This is one of the best book for students who are preparing for the GATE and IES examination. The above book fails to explain some concepts regarding filters but this book has explained all the concepts of filters and z-transform in great depth. Those students who are looking to crack interviews can also prepare some concepts from these books. But this book fails in explaining codes that were explained by the book mentioned above.
